Maid Works specializes in preparing vacation rental property for renting. Communication between property owners/managers and Maid Works staff is very important. We follow a step-by-step process to ensure that each vacation rental is clean and ready for guests. Other optional services may include linen service.
WHAT DOES A MAKE-READY INCLUDE? (Vacation rentals)
Kitchen- sanitize and scrub counter tops, dining table top, microwave, inside refrigerator, & stove top range, wipe fronts of kitchen appliances, clean cabinet exterior, unload dishwasher
*Bathrooms- sanitize and scrub, toilets, sink & counter, mirrors, clean cabinet exterior, trash removal, replace liner, put out fresh towels *Bedrooms- Replacing soiled linens with clean sets, bed making, dusting, straightening *Living Room/Loft- dusting, straightening |
*Floors- sweep, vacuum, and mop all floors
*Shine all mirrors *Polish/dust surfaces of all furniture *Removal of all trash to designated area *Laundry/linen service (blanket washing will be a separate charge: $10-$15 a piece) *Roll outdoor trash to curb *Straighten patio, wipe tables, chairs |
Ongoing Vacation Rental Cleanings
When a vacation rental property is completely booked, adherence to scheduled check-in and check-out
days becomes very important. We work directly with vacation rental owners and or managers to establish a complete list of dates and times Maid Works cleaning service is scheduled to prepare the property for its next visitor check-in.
If you are considering using your own home as a vacation rental, here are some recommendations:
Consider making one of the closets or cabinets one that locks it is useful for extra supplies and linens it is useful for cleaners to stock supplies, linens, etc..
Having two lock boxes outside the home (one hidden) is useful in case your renter locks themselves out. No need to send someone with an extra key.
Having a check out list of things the renter is responsible for such as turning off all lights, taking out the garbage, collecting linens and putting in one location. Most renters are agreeable to doing these types of things.
It is up to you what you would like to provide for your renters but a well-stocked home with games videos, board games, spices, and outdoor playing equipment such as beach toys will help to bring your renters back next season.
